Cannons Creek Lakes Reserve Entrance to Belmont Regional Park

The Cannons Creek entrance is next to the Cannons Creek Shopping Centre, Warspite Avenue, Porirua City.

If coming by car, exit State Highway 1 at Mungavin interchange, Porirua City, and follow Champion Street for about 2 kilometres, to the Cannons Creek Shopping Centre.  You may park in their carpark.

There are regular train services to Porirua Railway Station, and regular buses connect to Cannons Creek Shopping Centre on Warspite Road.  See Metlink for details.

Takapu Road Track Entrance to Belmont Regional Park

The Takapu Road Track Entrance is at the eastern end of Takapu Road.

Exit State Highway 1 at the Tawa-Grenada North exit, and follow Takapu Road to the end.  It's about 5 kilometres.  Park on the roadside near the Information Board.
